

I purchased this Frontier Soup soup mix at a charity fundraiser in the fall and decided last night to create my own Chicago Bistro French Onion Soup. I sauteed my own onion sliced thinly in three tablespoons of butter.Then I added the soup mix and six cups of beef broth. Cooking time was roughly 40 minutes. It was a favorful soup, but really didn't remind me of classic French onion soup.
